Passed Down to Me.
Born and raised in Idaho. Trained by Jared starting at 15, full-time in the tile and stone trade ever since. Whether by choice or by chance, my parents named me Mason. Given where the trade would take me, the name turned out to fit.
Growing up in this family, tile and grout is where the depth ran deepest — that's the work I learned first, and that's the foundation everything else stands on. But somewhere along the way, stone became the deeper passion. Marble, granite, quartzite, travertine — the chemistry, the surface behavior, the way a dull piece of stone can come back to something better than new.
That passion turned into study. Hundreds of hours reading, testing, learning. Miles of travel across the country to learn new techniques and see equipment I couldn't see any other way. MBstone certification. SureShine Network. And it doesn't stop — I'm still learning. The moment you think you know everything about stone is the moment the quality starts to slip.
Today I run Elite Tile & Stone out of Coeur d'Alene, serving all of North Idaho. Every job is the family standard: the best work humanly possible, honest before anything, and every home treated like a home — not a jobsite.
