Our Story — Family Legacy in Tile & Stone

Three Generations.
One Craft.

Grew up in Post Falls. 11 years in stone restoration. One standard — the very best job humanly possible.

The Trade Was
Passed Down.

The story starts with Allen — the man who founded the Grout Pro franchise, which today has locations across the country. He was an entrepreneur many times over, but tile and stone is where his passion actually shined. He didn't work to live. He lived to work.

Allen passed the trade to Jared, who's now owned and run the Reno Grout Pro location for over 30 years. Jared has done nothing else with his career — tile, grout, and stone since he was 18. That level of detail, the kind most people overlook, is what he built his reputation on.

Jared trained Mason. Full-time in the trade since 15. Whether by choice or by chance, the name fit the calling. From tile and grout — where the family's depth runs the deepest — Mason discovered stone, and stone became the deeper passion. Hundreds of hours of study, miles of travel across the country to learn techniques, master new equipment, and pursue MBstone certification. That pursuit is still going.

Alongside Mason is Lily — a nurse serving the community three days a week, and the person who runs marketing and bookkeeping the rest of the time. She keeps the business running so Mason can focus on the craft.

Three generations. One connected trade. Passed down the same way it has to be — hand to hand, standard to standard.

What We Do

One Connected
Specialty

Tile, natural stone, grout, and glass aren't separate trades — they're one connected craft. The same surfaces, the same chemistry, and the same restoration processes run through all of them. That focus is what lets us work at a level general cleaners can't reach.

Natural Stone Restoration
Cleaning, honing, polishing, sealing, and repair of marble, granite, quartzite, travertine, limestone, slate, and all natural stone — on any surface, anywhere in the home or property.
Tile & Grout
Deep cleaning, sealing, and repair of tile and grout. Grout replacement and regrouting where lines are cracked, missing, or beyond cleaning.
Glass & Hard Water
Calcium and hard water removal from shower glass, restoration of clarity, and protective ceramic coating to keep buildup from returning.
Sealing & Silicone
Professional sealing of stone, tile, and grout, plus silicone and caulk replacement in showers, wet areas, and around fixtures — anywhere in the home.
Certifications

Our Credentials

MBstone Certified
MBstone certification represents advanced training in professional stone care — cleaning, honing, polishing, sealing, and restoration of natural stone surfaces. It is one of the most respected credentials in the stone restoration industry and sets a clear standard of knowledge and professionalism.
SureShine Network
Membership in the SureShine Network connects us with a national community of professional stone care specialists, industry resources, and continuing education. It represents our commitment to staying current with techniques, products, and standards in a field that continues to evolve.
Three Generations
Beyond formal certification, what we bring to every job is three generations of accumulated knowledge — the kind of depth that only comes from a family that has worked in this trade for over 30 years. Allen founded the Grout Pro franchise. Jared has run the Reno location his entire adult life. Mason has been in the trade since 15. No credential replaces that lineage.
How We Work

What We Stand For

1

The Best Job Humanly Possible

That is the standard on every job — not a good job, not a satisfactory job. The best one possible. It is not a marketing line. It is what I am thinking about from the moment I walk in to the moment I pack up and leave.

2

Always Getting Better

I am constantly learning new techniques, investing in better equipment, and learning from people who have been in the trades longer than I have. Humility keeps the standard high. The moment you think you know everything is the moment quality starts to slip.

3

Honest Before Anything

I tell you what I can achieve before I start — and I don't start until you understand what to expect. If a surface has limitations, I say so. No surprises at the end of a job. Ever.

4

Your Home Is Not a Jobsite

I work in your home as a guest. I protect surrounding surfaces, clean up completely, and leave everything in better shape than I found it. That is not optional — it is part of every single job I take.
